Jackass Quote of the Day

Illinois Senator Dick Durbin addressing the National Council of La Raza in Chicago on Sunday (emphasis mine):

“It is time for us to pass comprehensive immigration reform in the United States of America,” said Durbin. “We are never going to deport 12 million people from America. These are people who make this country great, and need to be part of our future.“

Let me get this straight. According to Durbin, the people who make this country great are those who come illegally, work illegally, commit identity theft, take jobs that could be going to increasingly unemployed citizens, drive down wages, clog emergency rooms, and cost hard-working taxpayers money to educate their children and incarcerate them when they commit crimes?

Only a politician and/or a race pandering whore could look at such a long list of reasons to support securing our borders and deporting illegal aliens and say, please, sir, may I have some more?
